Tunnelview Historic SiteGeneral InfoThis 16 acre site, adjacent to the Conemaugh Dam in southwestern Indiana County, contains significant remnants of transportation history as well as standard park facilities, and access to much more in the adjacent area. Check out our Tunnelview Historic Site Map, as well!Activities & AccommodationsPavilionA pavilion, restroom, interpretive exhibits and a canoe launch are available at Tunnelview. The Army Corps of Engineers also offers extensive public recreation facilities at the nearby Conemaugh River Lake. Call 724-459-7240 for more information concerning the Corps facilities.West Penn Rail TrailThe West Penn Rail Trail runs through Tunnelview Historic Site. This trail runs between Saltsburg and the Newport Road trailhead near Blairsville. The West Penn Trail is operated by the Conemaugh Valley Conservancy.

Waterworks Conservation AreaGeneral InfoThe Waterworks Conservation Area is a 10-acre site located adjacent to Two Lick Creek, approximately 3 miles south of Indiana, Pennsylvania. Ghost Town Trail Information | Indiana County Parks and Trails

Ghost Town TrailGeneral InfoThe Ghost Town Trail totals 36 miles in Indiana and Cambria Counties, Pennsylvania. The trail was originally established in 1991 when the Kovalchick Salvage Company donated 16 miles of the former Ebensburg & Black Lick Railroad to Indiana County.

In 1993 the Cambria & Indiana Railroad donated an additional 4 miles from Rexis to White Mill Station known as the Rexis Branch.

In 2005 an additional 20 miles were added to the trail – 12 miles in Indiana County and 8 miles in Cambria County. The trail is designated as a National Recreation Trail by the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Hoodlebug Trail Information | Indiana County Parks and Trails

Hoodlebug TrailGeneral InfoThe Hoodlebug Trail is a 10 mile recreation and commuter trail running from Black Lick to Indiana. The Hoodlebug Trail is open year-round for non-motorized activities, including bicycling, hiking, and cross-country skiing. It is also part of a large network of trails in western Pennsylvania known as the Trans Allegheny Trails network.
