Westmoreland County, PA – Official Website – Cedar Creek Trekker Campground

Cedar Creek Trekker CampgroundLocated on the Great Allegheny Passage on the Youghiogheny River, the Cedar Creek Trekker Campground is for families or individuals that are traveling on the trail or river that wish to camp overnight. The site contains several campsites with a table and fire ring in each. There are no shower facilities, but potable water is available.The Trekker Campground is on a first come, first serve basis and is free for trail users. There is a three night maximum stay.If you are using the trail and wish to leave your car overnight at Cedar Creek, you must stop by the registration kiosk, located where the main road crosses the trail. Fill out a registration form and drop it in the box; this will alert park staff that you are on the trail and how long your car will remain on-site. Please be aware that park gates are locked at night.All Westmoreland County Rules and Ordinances apply to the Trekker Campground.
