Westmoreland County Boundless Playground

Boundless Playground The Boundless Playground at Twin Lakes Park is a wonderland for kids of all ages and physical abilities. The exceptionally large 90-foot by 120-foot play area offer children a variety of activities such as slides, swings, mazes, climbers, balance challenges and bounce/swivel seats. All walking decks are twice the width of a normal playground, allowing wheelchairs to fit easily on the decks. There are over 55 activity stations, and equipment meets or exceeds all ADA requirements. The playground is surrounded by a unique poured rubber material that provides a soft, cushioned safety surface and enhances accessibility.

Westmoreland County Youth Field Day

Mammoth Park Youth Field Day The Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Westmoreland County Commissioners, as well as our State Senator from the 39th district, have recognized that kids today are not enjoying the outdoors and interest in the outdoors has lessoned in past years. With this in mind, local volunteers, along with Westmoreland County Parks and Recreation, have sponsored the “Mammoth Park Youth Field Day” to inspire an interest in the great outdoors.
