Jesse Ferrell’s WeatherMatrix blog covers extreme weather worldwide with a concentration on weather photos and social media. Jesse Ferrell is a meteorologist and AccuWeather’s Social Media Manager. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1997 and has written extensively about the Johnstown floods. In 2010, he started a network of weather webcams in Central Pennsylvania that showcase the Laurel Highlands. Jesse is originally from the foothills of North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 1995.

Ron Shawley after spending 25 years in the military both active duty and reserve time, went into broadcasting and marketing arenas. Ron had his own national talk show on the Family network, he worked with X-File cases in the military as their case photographer, has been chasing weather and shooting its beauty for over 45 years, blogs on AccuWeather social media and is the current executive director for Laurel highlands Historical Village. Ron Attended Johnstown Vo Tech grad of 76 after Military went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
