Candidate for the 12 Congressional District
Aaron Anthony, Democratic Candidate for PA 12th Congressional District, brought a crew from Pittsburgh with him to help The Laurel Highlands Historical Village Members in Cleaning, Planting and fixing our Trail.
“I can’t believe these folks came and worked with us side by side to make our Veterans Memorial Trail something everyone in Johnstown can be proud of”, stated Ron Shawley. Executive Director of Laurel Highland Historical Village.
Aaron Anthony and his beautiful daughter Adelaide worked up a sweat planting flowers and cleaning up our trail for our citizens. “Aaron, his Crew and especially Adelaide really worked hard and impressed me that they really care about us here in Johnstown. I felt the spirit of John Murtha working with us side by side for our area vets.”, states a Laurel Highlands Historical Village Volunteer.
Since the unexpected death of Murtha a few years back, our area veterans have felt abandon. Every Veteran in the area is really supportive of this project. We thank Aaron, Adelaide and his hard working crew of Volunteers that proved that there still may be people that care for this region in Washington.
