Northmoreland Park Northmoreland Park is 548 acres in size and is the largest Westmoreland County park. The Northmoreland Lake is stocked by the PA Fish and Boat Commission and includes both warm water fish and trout. The lake provides excellent fishing opportunities and a fishing derby is held every year. Cedar Creek ParkCedar Creek Park, with its 479 acres, is the premiere access point to the Youghiogheny River Trail for Westmoreland County residents. The Great Allegheny Passage, a regional trail system linking Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh, passes through Cedar Creek Park along the Youghiogheny River.
