Westmoreland County Cedar Creek Activity Center

Cedar Creek Activity Center The Cedar Creek Activity Center is located along the Youghiogheny River and the Biking and Hiking Trail, just past Pavilion 19. It seats up to 60 people inside and has seating for 40 on the outside deck overlooking the river. It also has a small kitchen area and indoor restroom.

Brian T. Rusnock Amphitheater  Brian T. Rusnock Amphitheater   Named in memory of Brian T. Rusnock, this outdoor amphitheater is host to a summer concert series featuring local musicians, as well as other special programming. Hillside seating offers a great view of the stage, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Westmoreland County Boundless Playground

Boundless Playground The Boundless Playground at Twin Lakes Park is a wonderland for kids of all ages and physical abilities. The exceptionally large 90-foot by 120-foot play area offer children a variety of activities such as slides, swings, mazes, climbers, balance challenges and bounce/swivel seats. All walking decks are twice the width of a normal playground, allowing wheelchairs to fit easily on the decks. There are over 55 activity stations, and equipment meets or exceeds all ADA requirements. The playground is surrounded by a unique poured rubber material that provides a soft, cushioned safety surface and enhances accessibility.

Westmoreland County Hobgoblin Hikes

Hobgoblin Hikes Recommended for ages eight and over, the Hobgoblin Hikes are half-mile outdoor guided walks through the haunted woods of our County Parks. Visitors can expect to be led through mazes and cemeteries, and past more than 100 ghouls, goblins and monsters. The Hobgoblin Hikes are offered to provide a safe, family alternative to conventional trick-or-treating. Parents are encouraged to attend the events with their children.
